Nick has returned to Alliance Medical in 2024 as Group CEO. A Chartered Accountant, he worked at Alliance Medical between 2012 and 2019 as Chief Financial Officer and was responsible for the growth of the radiopharmacy business, helped lead the successful tender award and subsequent development of the UK national PET contract and was instrumental of the sale of the Group to Life Healthcare.
Prior to joining AMG, he had held several FD/ CFO level roles, including at GE, Allied Domecq and Vita Group (a manufacturer of industrial polymers and compounds).
Howard is a qualified accountant and joined Alliance Medical in 2008 and has worked in a number of senior roles both within Finance and within AMGs Molecular Imaging business, becoming Group CFO in 2019.
Prior to joining Alliance Medical, Howard worked for Misys plc and KPMG.
Mark joined Alliance Medical as UK Medical Director in June 2015 before being appointed as International CMO in 2019 and Group CMO in 2021. Prior to joining Alliance Medical, Mark held several senior roles, including Group Medical Director at BMI Healthcare and, before moving to the UK in 2009, General Manager: Health Economics and Strategy at Netcare Primary Care, and Chief Medical Officer at Goldfields Ltd.
Mark holds an MBBCh and M Fam Med from the University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa and a Master’s Degree in Health Economics from Curtin University, Australia.
Janet joined Alliance Medical as Group Chief Legal Officer in September 2024. Prior to joining Alliance Medical, Janet held several senior legal roles, including General Counsel at NHS Blood and Transplant and Oxford Immunotec plc and Senior Counsel at Baxter Healthcare and Gilead Sciences.
Pete joined Alliance Medical in February 2010 and was appointed to the UK Managing Director role in March 2024.
Prior to joining Alliance Medical, Pete’s career was in financial services with Banco Santander and Alliance & Leicester where he held a variety of senior HR and programme roles over a 14-year period.
In his initial years with Alliance Medical, Pete was Corporate Services Director for the UK business with accountability for HR, IT, contact centre operations and our Northern European business. From 2017 to 2024 he was a member of our group leadership team working in partnership with healthcare colleagues throughout Europe.
Pete has a BSc in Mathematics and Management Studies from the University of Leeds and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development.
Malcolm joined Alliance Medical Ireland in 2007 as the General Manager, before becoming the Managing Director in 2009. Before joining the business, he spent 22 years with Siemens Healthcare in several engineering roles including being responsible for Ireland’s first MRI installation as well as the country’s first Siemens Linear Accelerator.
Malcolm is a Chartered Engineer with an MBA from University College Dublin as well as an MSc in experimental physics specialising in MRI.
Beatrice graduated from Bocconi University in Economics and joined Alliance Medical in 2013 and has been Managing Director of Italy since 2014. Previously she has worked in senior roles in the chemical and construction sectors working for International listed companies.
Axel joined Alliance Medical in May 2017 through the acquisition of the Eckert & Ziegler cyclotron division by Alliance Medical and since 2022, has been the Managing Director of the Radiopharmacy business across Northern Europe and the UK.
Axel started his carrier in nuclear medicine in 2001 establishing f-con Pharma AG which he sold to Eckert & Ziegler in 2005. Axel has a degree as radiochemist and is a qualified person and a responsible person for wholesale.
Nart joined Altakassusi Alliance Medical in 2021. Prior to joining Nart worked as a Independent Healthcare Consultant working in the Middle East and North Africa and had previously worked as a Regional General Manger in Siemens Medical Solutions.
